Minor ball hockey in Edmonton:
Apart for the regular Edmonton minor hockey they also have other forms of hockey like Ball Hockey. Ball hockey is a team sport and a variation of the sports of ice hockey and street hockey, where the game is played on foot in which players use sticks to direct a ball into their opposing team’s net. When that occurs it is referred to as a “goal”. At the end of the time allotted for the game the team with the highest number of goals is declared the winner. The Minor Ball Hockey Association of Edmonton is a registered not-for-profit league, run by a volunteer board that is elected by members. The league has always had a strong and dedicated volunteer Executive, and the tasks accomplished over the years set the bar very high for other leagues across Canada. The success of this league both on and off the floor is evident in the constant growth in all levels of play.
